Growing the next generation of bioinformaticians

In collaboration with academic partners, the SIB participates in a variety of courses and seminars designed to educate research scientists in bioinformatics.

This comprises several undergraduate curriculums at Swiss universities, including:

Masters in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics
Masters in Proteomics and Bioinformatics
Bachelor in Computational Sciences, major in Computational Biology

Graduate Teaching Program in Genomics and Bioinformatics

The SIB also organises a PhD Student Training Network which offers graduate students theoretical and practical training on selected current and emerging hot topics in bioinformatics and fosters the emergence of a network of PhD students.
